Challenges
Their existing Data ecosystem was originally designed for limited users and structured data processing. However, as data volume, velocity, and variety increased, the system faced several performance issues:
- Performance Bottlenecks: System lagged when processing large data sets from multiple sources.
- Scalability Constraints: The system crashed during peak usage due to high concurrent user loads.
- Inefficient Data Handling: Struggled with processing unstructured data, such as logs, mobile / Collection Device data, document / images data etc.
- Delayed Insights: Reports & Dashboards took too long to generate, reducing the efficiency of business decisions.
- Lack of futuristic Data Framework: Data from OEM partners and third-party brokers was not effectively channelised and utilised. Since the day-to-day Data availability challenges were on the fore-front there was no time for the internal team to deploy a cohesive data strategy.
Solution
To tackle data management challenges, we deployed XSIGHT, an advanced analytics platform for scalable, real-time data processing. Key steps included:
- PoC & Performance Assessment: We tested XSIGHT’s capacity to handle 500TB datasets and 10,000+ active users, simulating real-time streaming data.
- Scalable Platform Deployment: XSIGHT was implemented with an intuitive interface on Azure Cloud, utilizing Azure Data Lake and AKS for high-performance computing. Databricks optimized batch and stream processing of structured and unstructured data.
- Advanced Data Strategy: A secure Enterprise Data Framework was developed for data assetization, speeding up business use-case deployment. We fostered OEM collaboration through secure data exchange and AI-driven recommendations.
- Data Governance & Compliance: RBAC and multi-tier encryption ensured privacy and compliance, while a data lineage system tracked data flow for transparency.
This solution enabled scalable, high-performance data management and empowered personalized analytics for our customers and teams.
