Business Context
The client was heading toward becoming a leading bank in the Indian market and needed an electronic system to meet the growing business needs to measure the performance of individual employees (viz., Relationship Officers (RO), Relationship Managers (RM) as well as Team Leaders (TL) across the various roles of the different business segments, viz., NR, Priority, Branch Banking, Sales and Corporate Salary etc., To implement this, they were on the lookout for a robust application that would replace the existing FoxPro-based system using which was was very time consuming and cumbersome, which they knew would pose impediments in being able to scale with their growing business needs.

Challenges
The biggest Challenge was to build a system that would be flexible enough to accommodate the changes in business (both in terms of products and services) & strategies; and one that would generate payouts for ROs/RMs of all 52 roles of different business segments viz., NR, Priority, Branch Banking, Sales and Corporate Salary, etc., Additionally, the Business rules that change on quarterly, half-yearly or yearly basis added to the complexity of the requirement.

Solution
- A web-based solution was envisaged and implemented with the latest Microsoft technologies.
- An easy-to-adopt and user-friendly user interface interfaces were built for all the modules, viz., Role Master, Role-Parameter-Target Master, SoP Process, Score-card , Search-Your-Business and Upload Controls.
