CTS is a web browser based applications designed to integrate with this clients ERP system to pull and store basic shipping details like shipping date, delivery date, shipping port, destination freight station etc. of a container.
At any of the freight stations gate respective user will get a notification of planned incoming or outgoing container, based on this alert user can create requisite in/out gate pass. At any point of time CTS provides its users with container inventory details like full containers, empty containers, damaged containers, delivery expired containers as well as missing containers. As this application deals with price sensitive data a mechanism to automatically trigger medium and critical alerts via emails and sms is built-in.
A J2ME based mobile client is also integrated with CTS to help our clients customers track their containers via their mobile in case they are not able access this information via this portal.
CTS is a combination of thin and mobile client based solution used by 5000+ users across the globe and is developed using Microsoft technologies like ASP.Net 3.5, J2ME, SQL Server 2008, AJAX, JQuery, SSIS and Secure encryption algorithms.
